DESCRIPTION FOR LEAD PACKAGE ENGINEER:A Lead Package Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of packaging solutions, ensuring they are functional, cost-effective, and sustainable. They collaborate with various teams, manage projects, and ensure compliance with regulations while driving continuous improvement in packaging processes. Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the Vendor design and selection of all types of equipment on EPC projects through various engineering work phases (i.e., feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED studies, and detailed engineering). Responsible for preparing consolidated Datasheets, Technical specifications, Material Requisitions, TQ, TBE for packages such as Glycol Dehydration packages, Chemical Injection Packages, H2S removal packages, Produced water treatment packages etc.,Coordinates work with inter-disciplines, clients, and suppliers. Participates in HAZID, HAZOP, and model review studies for packages; coordinates and closes out Package related issues. Evaluating and selecting optimal packaging materials based on performance, cost, and sustainability criteria. Performs vendor document and design reviews for all the packages. Identifying opportunities to reduce packaging costs while maintaining quality and functionality. Providing technical guidance and support to manufacturing and other teams on proper packaging handling and implementation. Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports. Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and co-packers, to ensure smooth operations. Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with packaging materials, timelines, and production processes. Job Requirements:Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 15+ years of experience. Possess relevant experience working on EPC projects with reputed international clients. Offshore project experience (Wellhead, fixed platforms, and FPSO) is preferred. Well conversant with international industry codes such as ASME, API, EN, NACE, WRC, PED etc. Should possess coordination and good oral and written communication skills.
