This includes procurement coordination, warehousing, stock accuracy, distribution, and both local & international logistics. The role oversees essential items such as crockery, cutlery, tableware, small equipment, furniture, packaging, uniforms, decorative items, and other operational supplies. This position ensures that all restaurants receive their materials accurately, on time, and in optimal condition while managing inventory levels, warehouse flow, and supply chain operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities1. Inventory & Stock Control Manage stock levels of all non-food items including crockery, cutlery, glassware, packaging, furniture, equipment, uniforms, and décor. Ensure 100% stock accuracy through daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts. Implement effective inventory management systems, ensuring stock is properly labeled, coded, and stored. Forecast material requirements based on restaurant consumption trends and upcoming openings/renovations.2. Warehouse & Distribution Center Management Oversee operations at the Dubai Distribution Centre. Ensure organized storage, safe handling, and optimal warehouse layout. Supervise receiving, inspection, and quality checks of incoming materials. Maintain strict documentation and records of all stock movements.3. Logistics & Distribution Plan and execute distribution of materials to all UAE restaurants (15+ locations). Coordinate international shipments for materials required in other countries. Process export documentation, customs paperwork, packing lists, and shipping instructions. Work closely with logistics companies, freight forwarders, and local transport providers. Ensure timely and damage-free delivery of goods.4. Procurement Support & Vendor Coordination Work closely with Purchasing to track delivery schedules and supplier performance. Support vendor evaluation, quality verification, and return processes for defective goods. Ensure cost-efficient logistics and accurate lead-time planning.5. Internal Stakeholder Coordination Communicate with restaurant managers, operations team, and project team regarding stock availability and delivery schedules. Support new store openings by managing equipment lists, packaging supplies, and décor logistics. Provide clear, accurate inventory reporting to management.6. Systems, Controls & Reporting Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP or internal stock management software. Issue weekly and monthly inventory reports, highlighting slow-moving, fast-moving, and critical items. Track logistics costs and suggest optimization strategies.7. Compliance & Standards Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, warehouse safety standards, and international shipping regulations. Maintain proper documentation for audit and finance purposes. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in inventory management or logistics, preferably in hospitality, retail, or F&B supply chain. Experience managing non-food inventory (tableware, equipment, packaging, décor) is strongly preferred. Experience handling international logistics (imports/exports, customs clearance, freight forwarding). Strong inventory management software skills. High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to manage a warehouse team and coordinate multiple deliveries daily. Strong communication skills across departments and with external partners. Experience in multi-unit restaurant chains is an advantage.
