Job DescriptionAbout Wynn Al Marjan Island:On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About The PositionWynn Al Marjan is currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join the resort’s Wynn Oasis team.ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of this role are: Oversee daily dining operations across multiple venues (buffet, casual dining, coffee shops, themed outlets). Supervise waiters, buspersons, and support staff, ensuring alignment with Wynn’s grooming and etiquette standards. Conduct daily pre‑shift briefings to communicate service goals and operational priorities. Provide hands‑on coaching and mentoring to maintain service excellence. Respond promptly to feedback and concerns, ensuring resolutions enhance satisfaction. Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful dining environment. Organize and support training sessions and refresher courses in collaboration with the F&B Trainer. Ensure strict adherence to Wynn policies, HACCP standards, and UAE health regulations. Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and cost control measures. Maintain accurate records of operations, compliance, and staff feedback. Support the Manager in preparing reports and performance evaluations. Monitor food presentation, cleanliness, and service speed to ensure smooth operations. About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in dining operations, preferably in staff accommodation or hospitality settings. Prior experience in staff accommodation, corporate dining, or hospitality settings is highly valued. Proven ability to lead and motivate multicultural teams in fast‑paced environments. Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and conducting structured training programs to maintain service excellence. Knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and workplace health standards. Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality service and resolving concerns with professionalism. Understanding dining service procedures, buffet and à la carte setups, and staff meal planning. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office tools. Skilled in resolving operational challenges and conflicts constructively while maintaining service excellence.
