Role Overview
Dubai Physiotherapy & Family Medicine Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist with a special interest in Aesthetic and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation to join our expanding multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on the rehabilitation of patients following cosmetic, reconstructive, and weight-loss surgery, as well as post-pregnancy and body-contouring recovery, using evidence-based physiotherapy techniques. This is a medical, DHA-licensed role within a premium clinical environment and is not a beauty or spa position.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:Post-Surgical Rehabilitation Managing patients following:Liposuction Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) Breast surgery BBLFacelift and reconstructive procedures Reducing post-operative swelling, fibrosis, pain, and movement restriction Implementing rehabilitation programs to optimise tissue healing and recovery
Aesthetic Physiotherapy & Soft Tissue Rehabilitation Performing:Manual lymphatic drainage Scar mobilisation and desensitisation Myofascial release Soft tissue and fibrosis treatment Using adjunctive modalities such as ultrasound, shockwave, compression, and electrotherapy
Women’s Health & Body Rehabilitation Supporting patients with:Post-pregnancy recovery C-section scar management Diastasis recti Pelvic and abdominal rehabilitation
Clinical Practice Conducting comprehensive patient assessments Developing and documenting treatment plans Maintaining DHA-compliant clinical records Working closely with surgeons, GPs and the MSK team
Requirements
Essential:DHA Licence as a Physiotherapist (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or strong interest in:Post-surgical rehabilitation Lymphatic drainage Soft tissue and scar therapy Excellent manual therapy skills High professional and patient-care standards
Desirable:Training in lymphatic drainage, aesthetic physiotherapy or women’s health Experience working with cosmetic or plastic surgery patients Multilingual skills (Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, etc. an advantage)
