Job Purpose:
To contribute to the success of the team and the organization in achieving the vision of ABH and its group companies by supporting all finance departments with SAP core Finance and latest SAP functional areas. This includes identifying potential process improvements, initiating business process enhancements, training internal resources, and supporting the implementation of new functionalities and applications.
Analyze latest technological developments to transition from traditional IT into a MIS-driven organization. Identify and address operational inefficiencies, lead and mentor SAP users, and prepare the business for S/4HANA implementation. The role includes advisory and support across emerging SAP Finance capabilities such as Group Reporting, Advanced Financial Closing, Advanced Receivables Management, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
The role is also expected to leverage emerging AI capabilities within SAP S/4HANA, SAP Joule, and financial automation tools to enhance forecasting accuracy, anomaly detection, intelligent reconciliation, and overall finance process efficiency.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1: Business Performance
Responsible for the daily management, support, and maintenance of SAP FI and CO tickets and requirements. Support the delivery of application enhancement programs through BPM and BPR. Provide support to SAP Super User Teams and Manager SAP Financials. Inventory all Finance business processes, standardize and automate, prepare accounting for S/4 implementation. Train and develop super users across group companies. Ensure Business Process Documentation and End User Manuals are updated and accessible. Comply with data security policies and support security updates. Adhere to SLA commitments and guide the team to ensure compliance. Provide functional and technical expertise on AI-related initiatives and integration. Contribute to business process improvements and solution optimization. Maintain documentation for technical solution modifications. Implement recommendations from internal/external auditors. Plan, schedule, and report SAP project deliverables. Digitize physical workflows to comply with ABH Green IT Policy. Implement controls required by federal/local regulations. Improve financial management through SAP budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and cost control. Develop adaptive systems and orchestrated workflows. Review business processes, identify pain points, and revise using best practices. Apply embedded AI, predictive accounting, and machine learning models in S/4HANA, Group Reporting, and AFC to improve close cycles and detect anomalies. Use SAP Joule to support finance users via conversational queries and automated analysis. Implement AI-driven credit scoring and collections insights via Advanced Receivables Management and SAP BTP ML services. Integrate SAP financial data with AI pipelines for predictive cash flow, working capital optimization, and continuous controls monitoring. Deploy intelligent automation capabilities such as invoice classification, document extraction, and workflow recommendations. Evaluate SAP’s AI roadmaps (S/4HANA Finance, SAC, BTP) and recommend modernization initiatives.
2: Customers and Partner Relations Coordinate excellent customer service to all business application users. Respond promptly to internal users’ support requests. Maintain effective working relationships ensuring alignment of IT and business objectives. Identify and implement initiatives to enhance user satisfaction and SAP support. Collect user feedback to improve service levels. Resolve helpdesk issues as per SLA standards. Coordinate SAP training requirements and sessions across divisions.
3: People Management
Should be team orientated, generating a strong sense of team spirit amongst colleagues and other supporting departments for working towards a shared vision. Establish and maintain a participative and supportive team culture amongst all team members. Communicate clear performance objectives and individual performance targets to all team members. Assist the team in developing measurement tools to give real time information on operational performance. Contribute to building a positive team spirit by empathizing with the team’s commitment to the goals and objectives. Manage, motivate colleagues, train, develop the knowledge and skills of the team and ensure that procedures related to performance appraisals and employee compliance are followed. Advise all levels of management on their responsibilities and accountabilities in relation to IT and ERP related topics.
4: Leadership/Innovation
To suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions using BPM methodology Keeps the management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified and actions being taken to improve the situation. Ensure commitment and team progress towards the divisional and corporate mission, vision, and core values through monthly team meetings. Prepare formal reports for senior management expressing an opinion on the quality of IT systems and incorporating agreed solutions to process gaps. Champion & Assist Manager SAP Financials on digital transformation initiatives that leverage SAP solutions to streamline processes and deliver value. Transform manual finance process into AI & ML and RPA driven operations.
Education Qualification and Experience:A university master degree or equivalent 8-10 years of SAP consulting experience. Minimum of 4 full end-to end cycle SAP implementations. Minimum 2 full end-to end S/4 Hana projects. New G/L experience (preferably 2 migration projects experience) Minimum 4 years’ working experience in the Accounting Department, preferably at a Pharma/FMCG or large family business. Working experience on Integration of SAP Financial Accounting and Management Accounting Modules with other SAP Modules In depth hands-on configuration experience in FI and COIn depth hands-on experience on LSMW / LTMCGood hands-on configuration experience in Report painter / writer. Good hands-on configuration experience in BI/BW or any other data warehouse solution Working knowledge of ABAP debugging skills is a plus. Working knowledge on the conversion of SAP legacy system to SAP S/4HANA is a plus. Good knowledge about UAE VAT and Corporate tax laws. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Experience in planning and managing medium size IT projects in a multi-cultural environment, with internal and external resources from cross functional backgrounds.
