We’re Hiring – Principal Architect
Location: Dubai (Open to candidates based outside the UAE willing to relocate) Company: QUBE DEVELOPMENT L. L. C
We are looking for a Principal Architect to join our Design team. This role is key to upholding QUBE’s architectural vision across all projects, bridging conceptual design with technical execution, and ensuring design excellence from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Concept, Design & Quality Transform development briefs and business objectives into innovative architectural concepts. Oversee conceptual, schematic, and detailed design stages across multiple projects. Maintain design integrity, innovation, and consistency in line with QUBE’s vision. Review design packages and technical deliverables, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards. Lead internal QA/QC reviews and implement best practices for design documentation.
Team Leadership & Coordination Provide guidance and oversight to Lead Architects and project teams. Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure deadlines and resources are managed efficiently. Mentor team members to foster a collaborative, solution-oriented culture. Coordinate with external consultants (AORs, landscape, interiors, MEP) and construction teams. Support authority approval submissions and represent architecture in client and consultant meetings.
Technical Oversight & Compliance Review shop drawings and contractor submissions for alignment with design intent. Approve key drawings and design updates in coordination with the Design Director. Ensure technical specifications and construction documents meet project and regulatory requirements.
Strategic Support & Reporting Support departmental planning, resource management, and process development. Report project status, design challenges, and coordination needs to management. Undertake ad hoc duties or special projects as assigned by the Design Director.
