At Emirates Flight Catering, safety is more than compliance—it’s our commitment to every employee, partner, and customer. We are looking for an Emirati leader to champion workplace safety across all our operations, from Airside ramp to manufacturing, catering, and logistics. As Workplace Safety Manager, you will play a key role in embedding a proactive, behavior-based safety culture, ensuring our people go home safe every day while aligning with international standards and local regulations.
What You Will DoImplement and monitor safety management systems across all sites and airside operations. Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses, performing root cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are completed. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to proactively identify hazards. Provide training and awareness programs to employees, supervisors, and leaders on safe work practices and emergency procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into daily operations. Manage the Return-to-Work (RTW) program, reducing Lost Time Injury (LTI) cases. Represent EKFC with regulatory bodies, airport authorities, and auditors, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. Lead and mentor a team of safety professionals to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
Who We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or equivalent.7+ years’ experience in Occupational Safety with integrated safety management systems. Experience in aviation, industrial catering, logistics, manufacturing, or construction is a plus. Proven experience in leading safety change management programs. Strong knowledge of local and federal safety regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to influence across all levels of a diverse organization.
