Position: Senior Consultant I – Tax & Compliance Location: Dubai, UAEReports to: Team Leader
Role Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a Bcom, Inter CA, or ACCA qualified professional with expertise in Accounting (IFRS), UAE Corporate Tax, and VAT. This role involves handling complex client portfolios, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and delivering high-quality advisory and consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee client assignments related to Accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax. Ensure preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Advise clients on tax planning, structuring, and compliance in line with UAE laws. Coordinate and support in audits, financial reporting, and regulatory filings. Supervise and guide junior team members, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact. Stay updated with changes in UAE tax laws, IFRS standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist in business development by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
Qualifications & Skills:BCom/ Inter CA / ACCA (part-qualified or fully qualified). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation. Knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, Quick Books, or ERP systems). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements. Experience in guiding junior staff.
