Role Overview:

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a Technical Assessor to evaluate operational risks, regulatory compliance, and investment exposure associated with a 10MW Waste Heat Recovery plant acquisition in the UAE. The role involves translating technical findings into structured risk ratings for executive-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Apply Technical Risk Scoring Matrix methodology
Assess operational reliability and historical outage records
Review environmental permits and grid interconnection compliance
Evaluate data quality and identify risks
Provide structured risk rating (Low/Medium/High)
Contribute to Executive Summary and Board Brief



Requirements

Engineering background (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial)
7+ years’ experience in asset assessment or technical due diligence
Familiarity with UAE industrial regulatory frameworks
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in M&A technical advisory
Understanding of WHR systems and cement industry operations
Ability to present findings to senior stakeholders
