Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting To: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with hands-on ERP experience (Tally and Odoo) to support accounting, compliance, and basic costing functions within a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong accuracy, discipline, and the ability to handle financial data in line with internal controls and UAE regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ERP Accounting & Data Management

  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions in Tally and Odoo

  • Ensure accuracy of entries related to sales, purchases, expenses, and journal vouchers

  • Maintain structured and audit-ready documentation for all transactions

2. Payables, Receivables & Reconciliations

  • Process supplier invoices with proper verification against LPOs/GRNs

  • Monitor receivables and coordinate follow-ups for collections

  • Perform periodic reconciliation of vendor, customer, and intercompany accounts

3. Inventory Accounting & Costing Support

  • Assist in inventory accounting, including stock entries, adjustments, and reconciliation

  • Coordinate with stores/operations for stock verification and variance analysis

  • Support basic product costing, material consumption tracking, and cost allocation

  • Ensure proper recording of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in ERP

4. Bank, Cash & Treasury Support

  • Assist in bank reconciliations and recording of all banking transactions

  • Maintain cash book and monitor petty cash usage

  • Support basic treasury tracking and fund allocation

5. Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, SOPs, and approval hierarchies

  • Maintain proper audit trails and ensure records are fully compliant and verifiable

  • Identify gaps, discrepancies, or non-compliance issues and escalate appropriately

6. Vendor & Customer Compliance Management

  • Verify and maintain updated records of vendor and customer documentation (Trade License, VAT/TRN details, and other statutory documents)

  • Ensure validity and periodic review of all compliance documents

  • Update and maintain vendor/customer master data and compliance details in ERP/portals on a timely basis

  • Coordinate with vendors and clients to obtain updated documents before expiry

  • Ensure compliance records are accurate and readily available for audits and regulatory requirements

7. General Finance Support

  • Assist in payroll data inputs and expense tracking (if required)

  • Support trade-related documentation and coordination (invoices, shipping docs, etc.)

  • Perform any additional finance or administrative duties assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (preferably in manufacturing/industrial sector)

  • Hands-on working experience in Tally and/or Odoo ERP systems (mandatory)

  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and basic costing principles

  • Working knowledge of UAE VAT and compliance requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Excel

  • High attention to detail and ability to handle structured financial data

Preferred Profile:

  • Experience with inventory-heavy or manufacturing environments

  • Exposure to stock audits, costing, and ERP-based inventory modules

  • Familiarity with compliance documentation and regulatory processes in UAE
