Roles & Responsibilities
Commercial & Contract Management:
Review and administer project contracts, subcontracts, and commercial terms.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and protect company interests.
Handle contract correspondence with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
Manage commercial risks and provide timely recommendations.
Payment Applications & Billing:
Prepare and submit Monthly IPC / IPA / Payment Applications accurately and on time.
Track approvals, certifications, and payment follow-up with clients.
Reconcile quantities, BOQ items, approved variations, and measurements.
Maintain payment tracker and aging report.
Variations / Claims / EOT:
Prepare, submit, and negotiate Variation Orders / Change Orders.
Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay notices.
Maintain variation & claims register.
Support dispute resolution and commercial negotiations.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
Monitor project cost versus budget.
Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and profitability analysis.
Identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
Control procurement and subcontractor costs.
Measurement & Valuation:
Verify site progress quantities and work completed.
Coordinate with site engineers and planning team for progress data.
Prepare final accounts and project closeout statements.
Subcontractor Management:
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and commercial comparisons.
Verify subcontractor invoices and progress claims.
Prepare subcontract agreements and payment recommendations.
Team Leadership:
Lead and supervise Quantity Surveyor team.
Guide junior QS staff on measurements, contracts, and claims.
Coordinate with Project Manager, Planning Engineer, Accounts, and Procurement teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
UAE / GCC experience preferred
Excellent knowledge of FIDIC / Contract Administration
Strong command in Excel, AutoCAD, ERP systems, BOQ preparation
Good communication and negotiation skills

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or relevant field.
4+ years experience in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management.
UAE / GCC experience preferred.
Strong experience in Steel Structure / Fabrication / PEB / Construction industry.
Excellent knowledge of FIDIC / Contract Administration.
Strong command in Excel, AutoCAD, ERP systems, BOQ preparation.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
