ALEMCO is looking for a Procurement Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) to support the Post-Contract Technical Procurement team, ensuring technically compliant procurement packages for large-scale construction projects.

Your Role Reporting to the Procurement Package Manager / Head of Procurement, you will support procurement activities for ELV and specialist building systems across multiple projects, ensuring technical compliance with drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Key Responsibilities Review MEP specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements. Prepare RFQs and support technical evaluation of vendor submissions. Review technical submittals, compliance matrices, and gap analysis. Coordinate with engineering, commercial, commissioning teams, consultants, and suppliers. Monitor procurement progress and maintain procurement trackers and records. Ensure technical compliance with project specifications, procurement procedures, and governance standards. Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and best practices.
What We’re Looking For Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 2 - 6 years’ within MEP engineering or procurement environments. Sound understanding of specifications, drawings, schedules. Familiarity with technical procurement trackers, gap analysis and compliance matrices.
Highly Preferred Experience within the MEP contracting or engineering sector, ideally within technically driven project environments. Exposure to post-contract procurement, technical submittals, or engineering coordination of MEP systems and equipment. Experience working on commercial, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments. Middle East project experience
