Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret and accurately follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications.

• Cut, shape, fit, and assemble steel components using fabrication tools and machinery while maintaining required tolerances.

• Perform high-quality welding operations (MIG, TIG, Stick, or as required) in accordance with company and project standards.

• Measure, mark, and lay out steel sections to ensure accurate positioning and alignment.

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.

• Operate fabrication equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Previous experience in steel fabrication is required.

• Knowledge and experience in manufacturing light poles and telecommunication towers will be an added advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in steel fabrication or a related trade.

• Welding certification (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) is an advantage.

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication.

• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics.

• Experience in a steel manufacturing/fabrication factory is required.

• Knowledge and experience in light poles and telecommunication tower fabrication will be an added advantage.
