This role tests core transactional workflows end to end, from database validation through to defect closure, working closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform manual testing, including API and database-level validation • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution • Validate data integrity through SQL queries against backend systems • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality deliverables • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint-level testing strategy • Test operational workflows with attention to real-world edge cases and disruption scenarios Required Technical Skills • 3–5 years of QA experience with strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies • Proficiency in API testing using Postman and SOAP UI • Working knowledge of PL/SQL basics and database testing • Solid understanding of the Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) • Strong defect management and tracking discipline • Hands-on experience with airline Departure Control Systems (DCS), Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), or Flight Disruption Handling platforms is required Candidate Profile • 3–5 years of hands-on QA experience in a professional software environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable working cross-functionally with developers and product managers in Agile teams
