The Dealing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day trading and dealing operations of a cryptocurrency exchange and OTC platform. This role executes client orders, monitors transaction flows for both crypto and fiat assets, oversees liquidity provider activities, performs reconciliations, and prepares operational reports. Working closely with the Head of Dealing, the specialist helps ensure efficient trading operations, operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.

• Monitor order books and ensure the integrity of active markets.

• Oversee order flow and execution across trading venues and liquidity providers.

• Ensure adequate liquidity across trading pairs and escalate liquidity concerns when necessary.

• Execute and price client orders through approved liquidity providers.

• Conduct daily trade validation and verify the accuracy of executed transactions.

• Perform reconciliations between trading activity, client balances, and internal systems.

• Support market-making activities and monitor liquidity during periods of increased market volatility.

• Identify and escalate suspicious trading patterns or unusual transactions to the Compliance and Risk teams.

• Prepare daily dealing reports, trading logs, and operational performance summaries.

• Assist in resolving operational incidents to minimize trading disruptions.

• Support the launch of new digital assets by evaluating operational readiness, liquidity, scalability, and profitability.

• Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and trading performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM-related discipline.

• 1–3 years of experience within a cryptocurrency exchange, brokerage, trading desk, or similar financial markets environment.

• Strong understanding of order books, market structure, pricing dynamics, and trade execution.

• Knowledge of market making concepts and liquidity management.

• Experience working with trading dashboards, reporting tools, and trade reconciliation processes.

• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Commitment to compliance, operational excellence, and regulatory standards.

• Willingness to work rotational shifts in a 24/7 trading environment and be based on-site.

  
  

Preferred

• 3–5 years of experience in a cryptocurrency exchange or brokerage trading environment.

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

• CFA Level I (or higher) or equivalent professional certification.

• Strong understanding of pricing strategies, risk management, high-frequency or algorithmic trading, asset pricing, and stochastic processes.

• Programming experience with Python, C++, R, or other relevant languages.

• Experience working with REST APIs, FIX Protocol, Order Management Systems (OMS), and trading platform integrations.

Reports directly to the Head of Dealing.
