The Role We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor / Loss Prevention / Safety Lead to oversee security operations, coordinate loss prevention initiatives, and promote a strong culture of workplace safety. This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional with strong leadership, risk management, and operational coordination skills. While the role is primarily remote for planning, reporting, training, and stakeholder collaboration, occasional site coordination or virtual security reviews may be required depending on operational needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement security, loss prevention, and workplace safety strategies aligned with business objectives. Supervise security operations and coordinate preventive measures to safeguard people, assets, and facilities. Conduct security assessments, safety inspections, and operational risk reviews to identify improvement opportunities. Investigate security incidents, safety concerns, and operational risks while recommending corrective actions. Collaborate with operations, facilities, HR, and leadership teams to strengthen security and safety performance. Monitor compliance with company policies, security procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Develop security awareness initiatives, safety communications, and training programs for employees. Prepare security performance reports, incident analyses, and risk management recommendations for management. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance while fostering collaboration across remote and cross-functional teams. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in security operations, loss prevention, workplace safety, risk management, or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of security management, incident prevention, workplace safety, and operational risk principles. Knowledge of security procedures, emergency response planning, investigations, and compliance practices. Familiarity with risk assessments, incident reporting, audit processes, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in preparing security documentation, operational reports, and performance analyses. Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a fully remote and project-based environment. Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated organizational, supervisory, and project coordination capabilities.
