Prepare, review, and approve lifting plans, lifting studies, rigging arrangements, and method statements.
Perform lifting and load calculations and determine suitable cranes, lifting equipment, and rigging accessories.
Review lifting operations to ensure compliance with approved plans, project specifications, and applicable HSE requirements.
Coordinate with construction, rigging, crane operators, HSE, and project teams for safe execution of lifting activities.
Verify the suitability and certification of cranes, lifting equipment, and rigging accessories.
Provide technical support for critical and heavy lifting operations.
Identify potential lifting risks and ensure appropriate control measures are incorporated into lifting plans and risk assessments.
Ensure lifting activities comply with relevant international standards, client requirements, and site procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.
10+ years of relevant experience in lifting engineering/operations within the Oil & Gas or Construction industry.
Strong knowledge of lifting plans, rigging studies, load calculations, crane selection, and lifting equipment.
Good understanding of relevant lifting, rigging, and HSE standards and practices.
Previous ADNOC project experience is preferred.
LEEA Certification is mandatory
UAE/GCC project experience, particularly in Oil & Gas/EPC projects, will be preferred.
Strong communication, coordination, and technical documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a site-based and project-driven environment.
