• Able to start up a new set up for the fabrication of pressure vessels for Oil & Gas industry with all the operational and administrative requirements in Dubai, UAE.

• Capable of setting up the unit from construction stage to installation of

  machineries, and running of facilities.

• Responsible for the management, execution and delivery of construction and fabrication

  projects.

• Responsible to the General Manager for overall construction progress, productivity, labor

  utilization, quality, production methods, safety coordination and execution.

• Provide direction, leadership and guidance to the team in respect of: health & safety,

  environmental guidelines; quality methods and procedures. Productivity cost & schedule Continuous Improvement, Resource utilization.

• Responsible for enacting proper fabrication techniques as well as working with the

  Project Planner/Production Engineer to develop detailed production schedules and then

  executing the construction operations to meet the detailed schedules and overall project

  plan. Instruct construction/fabrication personnel and track the progress of construction

  operations such as the arrival and utilization of materials, supplies, tools, machinery,

  equipment, and vehicles.

• Review engineering and architectural drawings and specifications frequently as well as

  consult with design professionals to ensure that progress is made in harmony with the

  outlined plans and specs. Collaborate with cost estimators to ensure that expenses are

  recorded properly and monitor the costs of the project so that the project does not go over

  the budget.

• Should obtain ASME certification for the unit, secure permits and licenses for projects as

  well as ensure the fabrication/construction projects meet safety codes and regulations.

• Review monthly plans to ensure they are realistic & meet project needs.

• Review all Production Progress & Productivity reports

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12-15 years of experience in Project management/Construction

Management/Production management in Pressure Vessel, piping, fabrication related

to Oil & gas industry.

• The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant discipline and preferably Post

Graduate or MBA Graduate, have managerial experience from a service company,

preferably with ASME Pressure vessel and associated components, and is able to use

a combination of technical and leadership skills to focus the teams and deliver both

professional sales and quality service to our customers.

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering.

• 12+ years of experience in the fabrication of Pressure vessels for Oil & Gas EPC

projects, with at least 5 Years of managerial experience in managing a team of white

and blue collar employees.

• Capable of handling projects in Oil & Gas, petrochemical plants, industrial projects

etc.

• Ability to review and interpret designs, drawings & specifications.

• Hands on experience at managerial level Oil & Gas piping including carbon steel and

stainless steel piping, tankage works and structural works (fabrication and erection).

• Knowledge of oil and gas and tank and terminal construction challenges including

those associated with costs and scheduling.

• Good understanding of electrical and instrumentation.

• Knowledge of ASME codes / QA/QC procedures.

• Experienced in resource control, commercial and contract management, and general

management.

• Strong management & leadership skills to lead all aspects of the construction process

& be able to work collaboratively with all involved.
