We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Lead - AI Engineering, Automation & Digital Transformation to drive enterprise-wide AI adoption, intelligent automation, and digital transformation initiatives from strategy through execution. This role demands a seasoned leader with deep expertise in AI/ML engineering, agentic AI, and process automation, with proven experience in transforming business operations and managing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with CxO’s office, GM IT and Senior Directors and business teams to embed AI-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and innovation across the organization.
Description
Lead and manage a cross-functional team of AI engineers, automation developers, and digital transformation specialists, fostering technical excellence and collaboration. Architect, implement, and scale AI/ML solutions and agentic AI platforms using Azure Open AI, AWS Bedrock, Databricks, and modern LLM frameworks. Design and deploy intelligent automation solutions (RPA, workflow orchestration, document intelligence) using platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, and Azure AI services. Build, fine-tune, and operationalize machine learning and Gen AI models - including forecasting, recommendation, NLP, and computer vision use cases - with robust MLOps practices. Drive the digital transformation roadmap: identify high-impact use cases, build business cases, and deliver measurable ROI through AI and automation initiatives. Establish and enforce Responsible AI and governance practices including model documentation, bias monitoring, explainability, security, and access controls. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions, reengineering processes end-to-end rather than automating inefficiencies. Oversee integration of AI agents and copilots into enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, BI platforms), ensuring multi-level data security and governance. Lead automation and AI use cases (e.g., chatbots, AI agents, predictive models, intelligent document processing) to reduce operational effort and cost. Present insights, use-case pipelines, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership including CEO, Chairman, and Directors.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
Required Experience & Skills:
6+ years of hands-on experience across AI/ML engineering, automation, and digital transformation. Proven leadership in managing AI/automation teams and delivering enterprise-scale solutions. Expertise in Python, LLM frameworks (Lang Chain/Lang Graph), Azure Open AI, AWS Bedrock, and API/microservices integration. Strong proficiency in RPA and workflow platforms (Power Automate, UiPath), Azure AI services, and MLOps tooling. Deep understanding of Gen AI, agentic AI architectures, prompt engineering, and model lifecycle management. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills. Experience in use-case discovery, business-case development, and delivering high-impact, ROI-driven solutions. Demonstrated success in scaling AI and automation use cases for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI/Data Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in Azure AI or AWS ML; RPA (UiPath/Power Platform) certifications are a plus. Experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing industries
