A Water Tank Cleaning Technician is responsible for the inspection, cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial water storage tanks in compliance with UAE health and safety regulations. The role ensures safe, hygienic water storage systems that meet standards set by local authorities such as Dubai Municipality. Technicians must follow approved procedures, use specialized cleaning equipment, and apply municipality-approved disinfectants to maintain water quality and public health standards.

• Inspect water tanks for contamination, sediment buildup, algae growth, and structural damage

• Drain and remove sludge, dirt, and debris from tanks

• Perform high-pressure cleaning and scrubbing of tank interiors

• Apply approved disinfectants and ensure proper sterilization

• Refill tanks and conduct water quality checks

• Maintain proper documentation and service reports

• Follow UAE safety regulations and confined space entry procedures

• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Desired Candidate Profile

High School Certificate or equivalent (preferred)

Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Training in water tank cleaning and disinfection procedures

Knowledge of hygiene standards as per Dubai Municipality regulations

Certification in Confined Space Entry (preferred)

With UAE Driving license is advantage

Basic First Aid training (preferred)

Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces

No fear of heights (for overhead tank cleaning)

Ability to work in hot and humid conditions
