Identify engineering risks and opportunities across manufacturing facilities. Ensure engineering investments support sustainable operational performance. Evaluate manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop engineering solutions for production constraints and operational challenges. Ensure manufacturing processes are technically robust, scalable, and maintainable. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate should have experience in Factory Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Plant Engineering, Equipment Engineering, or related fields. The candidate should demonstrate:Proven experience leading factory or plant-engineering functions in manufacturing or industrial environments. Experience leading factory-engineering projects from concept and design through procurement, installation, commissioning, and operational handover. Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering, process optimization, capacity planning, line balancing, production flow, and industrialization. Experience with production equipment specification, selection, installation, commissioning, reliability, and lifecycle management. Strong understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance engineering, root-cause analysis, and failure prevention. Experience with factory expansion, production-line deployment, new-factory development, or major capital projects. Experience managing engineering CAPEX, project budgets, contractors, engineering consultants, OEMs, and technical suppliers. Strong knowledge of factory utilities, infrastructure, energy management, and facility requirements. Experience working with automation, robotics, controls, MES, Industrial IoT, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 technologies is advantageous. Strong understanding of machine safety, engineering risk assessment, occupational safety, and regulatory compliance. Experience supporting new-product introduction, industrialization, production ramp-up, and design-for-manufacturing initiatives. Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, or operational-excellence initiatives. Strong understanding of process capability, SPC, quality engineering, and manufacturing problem-solving. Experience with factory layout design, material-flow optimization, ergonomics, and production-system design. Strong technical documentation and engineering-governance capabilities.
