Role Description The Managing Director role at Qiddiya City | مدينة القدية is a part-time, remote position responsible for providing strategic leadership and governance across key business functions. The Managing Director will oversee long-term vision and planning, ensure alignment with Qiddiya City’s mission and stakeholders, and guide the development of policies, operating models, and performance frameworks. Day-to-day activities include directing senior leadership teams, reviewing and approving major initiatives and investments, monitoring financial performance and risk, and ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance. The role also involves building strategic partnerships, representing Qiddiya City in high-level internal and external forums, and mentoring leaders to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. The Managing Director is expected to coordinate effectively across diverse disciplines, geographies, and cultures while driving measurable outcomes for the project’s growth and impact. Qualifications Proven executive leadership experience in large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects or organizations, preferably in real estate development, entertainment, tourism, infrastructure, or related sectors. Strong strategic planning, business development, and organizational governance capabilities, including experience defining vision, setting KPIs, and overseeing complex portfolios. Solid financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, capital allocation, risk management, and interpreting financial and operational performance data. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse, cross-functional teams, with excellent people management, coaching, and change management skills. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with boards, investors, government entities, and partners. Experience working in or with the GCC region or large international projects is highly beneficial; familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and related transformation initiatives is a plus. Advanced degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent senior executive experience will also be considered.<
