Role Description The Investment Director at مدينة السليمانيه will oversee the evaluation, selection, and monitoring of investment opportunities aligned with the organization’s strategic and financial objectives. This part-time remote role involves conducting market and financial analysis, developing and refining investment strategies, and preparing clear recommendations and reports for senior leadership. The Investment Director will manage portfolio performance, assess risk and return profiles, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as advisors, partners, and service providers. Day-to-day activities include reviewing financial statements, tracking key economic and market indicators, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards, and contributing to long-term capital allocation plans. The role also includes establishing investment frameworks, maintaining documentation, and supporting decision-making with data-driven insights.
Qualifications
Strong investment management capabilities, including hands-on experience in Investments and Investment Management. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and apply robust Investment Strategies. Solid grounding in Finance, including understanding of portfolio construction, risk management, and valuation principles. Proven track record in strategic decision-making, with the ability to align investments with organizational goals and risk appetite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. High level of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is an advantage. Familiarity with regional and international investment markets and regulatory environments is beneficial.
