The Role We are seeking a highly capable and service-oriented Corporate IT Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve the technology infrastructure supporting corporate users, business applications, offices, and remote operations. The role will be responsible for systems administration, network infrastructure, cloud services, endpoint environments, security controls, infrastructure monitoring, and technical support while helping ensure reliable and secure IT services across the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure and technology services. Support the daily operation of enterprise systems and infrastructure platforms. Administer Windows and Linux servers and related services. Maintain corporate network infrastructure, connectivity, VPNs, and Wi-Fi services. Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching environments. Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, and user authentication services. Support Microsoft 365 and other corporate productivity platforms. Administer user accounts, permissions, access rights, and security policies. Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and system health. Investigate infrastructure alerts, outages, and service interruptions. Provide technical support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests. Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, application, and connectivity issues. Manage corporate laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and IT equipment. Support endpoint management, configuration, patching, and software deployment. Maintain virtualization environments and virtual machines. Support cloud infrastructure and services across Azure, AWS, or similar platforms. Perform routine infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes. Manage server and endpoint patching activities. Support backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures. Monitor backup jobs and participate in recovery testing. Apply infrastructure security and system-hardening standards. Coordinate vulnerability remediation and security updates. Maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and other infrastructure security solutions. Manage infrastructure-related tickets through IT service-management platforms. Prioritize incidents according to business impact and service-level requirements. Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or specialist teams. Coordinate with cybersecurity, application, network, and service desk teams. Work with external vendors and managed service providers when required. Assist with IT infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and deployments. Maintain infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, asset records, and technical procedures. Conduct infrastructure health checks and performance reviews. Analyze recurring incidents and identify root causes and permanent solutions. Develop scripts and automation to improve infrastructure administration. Assist with infrastructure capacity planning and technology lifecycle management. Support IT audits, compliance assessments, and internal security reviews. Identify opportunities to improve corporate IT reliability, efficiency, and user experience. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in corporate IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments. Solid understanding of enterprise networking and connectivity technologies. Practical experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, and identity management. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 or comparable enterprise productivity platforms. Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or other cloud infrastructure platforms. Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure monitoring. Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, endpoint protection, patching, and system hardening. Experience with ITSM, service desk, or ticketing systems. Basic scripting and automation experience using Power Shell, Python, Bash, or similar tools. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities. Good command of written and spoken English. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fully remote environment. UAE or GCC corporate IT experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
