Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Dubai. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee and coordinate civil works on active construction sites, including grading, utilities, roadways, and drainage systems. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting design drawings, managing site inspections, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications. The role involves preparing technical reports, maintaining documentation, resolving site-related issues with contractors, and providing feedback to the design team on constructability and improvements. The Site Civil Engineer will also participate in planning meetings, support quality control processes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently and safely. Qualifications Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and practical experience applying civil engineering principles on site. Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including grading, roads, utilities, and site layout. Experience with Planning activities such as scheduling, resource coordination, and site logistics. Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related regulatory requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional registration or working toward it is an advantage. Familiarity with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3D) and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in diverse, multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients and contractors. Previous experience on site-based civil projects in urban environments or within the Gulf region is preferred. Must have fluency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Arabic is also a plus.
