Job description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Biology Teacher (AS/A Level) to deliver high-quality Biology instruction and support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons in line with British Curriculum and examination board requirements.

  
  

• Prepare students for AS/A Level examinations through effective teaching, practical activities, revision, and targeted academic support.

  
  

• Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and implement appropriate interventions to improve achievement.

  
  

• Maintain a positive learning environment and contribute to departmental development, assessment, and school improvement initiatives.

  
  

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree/Master’s in Biology or a related subject with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.

  
  

• Proven experience teaching Biology at AS/A Level, preferably in a British Curriculum school.

  
  

• Strong knowledge of relevant examination board specifications and practical laboratory work.

  
  

• Excellent command of English, with strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

  
  
• Certicates must be MOFA attested and with Equivalency/Genuinity certificate.
