Role Description The Senior Process Engineer will work on a contract basis in a remote capacity, supporting project teams with process engineering expertise. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and optimizing process systems, reviewing and improving process control strategies, and performing detailed process calculations and simulations. The role involves collaborating with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to align process designs with project schedules, risk assessments, and mitigation plans. The Senior Process Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, contribute to delay and risk analyses from a process perspective, and provide recommendations that enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance in project delivery. Qualifications Strong foundation in process engineering and process design, with the ability to develop, review, and optimize process systems. Expertise in process control and analytical skills to diagnose issues, interpret data, and enhance operational performance. Educational background in chemical engineering or a closely related discipline, with relevant professional experience in process-intensive industries. Experience working within project management or consultancy environments, including familiarity with schedules, risk assessments, and technical reporting. Proficiency with engineering and simulation software, and the ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and coordinate effectively with diverse project stakeholders. Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; prior experience in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
