• Field Inspection Execution: Inspect structural steel reinforcement, formwork alignment, dimensions, clear cover, and embedments prior to concrete casting. 

• Finishes Inspection: Inspect masonry lines, plaster thickness, screed levels, tiling alignment, waterproofing membranes, and paint finishes. 

• Consultant Inspection Escort: Accompany consultant site inspectors during scheduled WIR walkthroughs and record all site remarks. 

• Pre-Inspection Auditing: Perform rigorous pre-inspections before site engineers request consultant visits, eliminating obvious defects. 

• Material Delivery Checks: Verify delivered reinforcement, cement, blocks, tiles, and sanitary items against approved samples and delivery notes. 

• Defect Identification: Identify workmanship defects, mark non-conforming items on site, and verify remedial works carried out by foremen. 

• Daily Inspection Logging: Maintain a daily log of inspections conducted, passed, rejected, and pending re-inspection. 

Desired Candidate Profile

• Essential Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; 4+ years civil site inspection experience. 

• Preferred Qualifications: Specialized certifications in concrete inspection, coating, or waterproofing inspection. 

• Professional Licenses / Certifications: Valid UAE Driving License preferred. 

• Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience: 4–8 years in UAE civil contracting inspecting residential towers, luxury villas, and infrastructure.
