  • Direct the engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of all public health, water supply, drainage, storm water, solar hot water, and fire fighting systems. 

    2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 

    • Plumbing & Public Health Execution: Direct the installation of cold/hot water distribution, drainage stacks, vents, storm water downcomers, and grease traps. 

    • Fire Fighting System Governance: Oversee installation of fire pump sets, standpipes, landing valves, hose reels, and automatic sprinkler networks per DCD and NFPA. 

    • Civil Defence (DCD) Inspections: Prepare documentation and manage on-site testing for Civil Defence inspections to obtain Fire Safety Certificates. 

    • Pressure & Flow Testing: Conduct hydrostatic pressure tests on water supply and fire lines, and gravity flood/smoke tests on drainage piping. 

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Educational & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (attested with MOFA); 9+ years experience; DCD / NFPA knowledge. 

  • Required Industry & Project Background: 9–13 years in UAE MEP contracting managing plumbing and fire protection systems on high-rise, luxury villas, or communities.
