Responsibilities for business development assistant
• Monitor related business affairs inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain up to date business contacts
• Organize departmental off-sites, conferences and events
• Make travel arrangements, process expense reports
• Track all incoming and outgoing agreements, and file accordingly
• Develop and maintain filing systems and weekly deal tracking
• Draft cover letters and other correspondence
• Maintain invoices from third party firms/vendors
• Supporting the Strategy and Business Development team in the development, execution and monitoring of GTB’s regional, product and client strategies, the optimisation of its structure / governance, business and operating models the co-ordination / execution of related initiatives
• A proven ability to multi-task different projects and prioritise against tight deadlines
Skills
Desired experience for business development assistant includes:
Open-minded, can-do attitude
Fluent in English and Arabic will be a plus
Senior administrative assistant experience required
Some executive assistant supporting a VP or above
Arrange meetings and maintain frequently changing calendar
Answer phones and direct inquiries appropriately with the utmost professionalism and courtesy
