Because for you it’s the beginning. DGF Dubai has an opening for a Field Sales Specialist in Sales & Marketing Team. You will be responsible to Win, retain and develop Business Customers (BC). The person will also target new customers and generates additional revenue with existing customers by increasing share of wallet and gather customer and market information to update Product departments on current customer and market trends.

In this Field Sales Specialist position, you will:


  • Seek and prospects for business customer (BC) targets to win new customers as per product specialization AFR/OFR (80/20) portfolio.
  • Plan and manage BC.
  • Conducts regular visits to existing customers and prospects.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend solutions based on customer needs by using industry knowledge and product solutions.
  • Close business and support customer retention by conducting joints visits with Product Team and by organizing customer workshops.
  • Own and maintain the Customer Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Facilitate business implementation through the implementation team.
  • Collect relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ and prepares documents for customer implementation in order to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations (SLA's & SOP's).
  • Usage of DGF CRM system.

Qualifications:


  • Post Graduate degree preferably in business administration
 

Years experience:


  1. At least two years’ experience in the Logistics / Freight forwarding industry
  2. At least one year experience of direct sales
 

Skills:


  • Deep knowledge on DGF products (AFR/OFR)
  • Good communication and presentation skills, ideally selling experience in competitive markets
  • High degree of self-confidence, initiative, and commitment
  • PC literate, excellent organizational, communication incl. telephone and writing skills
  • Fluent in English verbal/written communication
