Store Keeper

Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all items in the store, including incoming and outgoing products.
  2. Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  3. Receiving and Inspection: Receive deliveries, inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy, and ensure they match purchase orders.
  4. Storage and Organization: Properly store and label products in designated locations to ensure easy access and efficient retrieval.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products are stored and handled in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  6. Documentation: Keep detailed records of all transactions, including receipts, invoices, and inventory counts.
  7. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover rates, and any discrepancies or issues.
  8. Customer Service: Assist customers with inquiries, provide product information, and assist with their purchases.
  9. Maintenance: Keep the store clean and organized, including performing routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  10. Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for all team members.



Skills

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in inventory management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and computer applications.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and moving of inventory items.
