About Us:

We're gearing up to launch a state-of-the-art Boutique Doggy Daycare and Boarding facility dedicated to pampering and caring for our furry companions. We're on the lookout for a dynamic and adept Pet Handler to join our devoted team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in sleep, play, and training areas.
• Regularly disinfect play and exercise equipment to uphold a hygienic environment.
• Aid in administering proper food and medication to dogs as per instructions.
• Monitor dogs for signs of illness or discomfort and promptly report any concerns.
• Supervise dogs during play and socialization to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Intervene when necessary to ensure a safe and positive atmosphere for all dogs.
• Report any injuries, accidents, or medical issues to the management promptly.
• Adhere to established protocols for handling emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
• Maintain accurate records of dogs' training progress, medical needs, and behavioural quirks.
• Develop personalized training plans for each dog under your care.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dog handler, trainer, or in a similar role.
• English Language
• Knowledge of various dog breeds and their behaviours.
• Patience, observational skills, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Passion for dogs and their well-being.
