Document Controller

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain document control procedures and systems to manage company documents and records effectively.
Receive, log, and track incoming and outgoing documents, including emails, faxes, and hard copies.
Ensure that all documents are accurately labeled, filed, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical document repositories, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.
Coordinate the review, approval, and distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Monitor document changes, revisions, and updates, and maintain a log of document versions and revisions.
Assist in the preparation and formatting of documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
Respond to inquiries and requests for information from employees and external parties regarding document status, location, and availability.
Ensure compliance with document control standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Perform regular audits and inspections of document control systems and procedures to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a document controller or in a similar role.
Proficiency in document management software and systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and document management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of document control standards and regulations is preferred.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
