Job Title: Painter and Decorator

Location: Dubai

Responsibilities:

1. Perform painting duties including preparing surfaces, applying coats of paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces.
2. Repair and prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting by filling cracks, holes, and joints, and sanding surfaces as necessary.
3. Select and mix paints, stains, and other finishing materials to achieve desired colors and textures, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
4. Install and remove wallpaper, as well as apply decorative finishes such as stenciling or faux painting, according to client preferences.
5. Safely operate and maintain painting equipment and tools, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and scaffolding, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
6. Being able to work with giproc.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends, new materials, and techniques related to painting and decorating, and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and disposal of painting materials and equipment.
9. . Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and implementing safe work practices on job sites.

Skills

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a painter and decorator, with a minimum of 3 years in the field.
2. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools, as well as surface preparation and repair methods.
3. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and translate them into finished projects.
4. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and finishes.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
6. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor involved in painting and decorating, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
7. Professional certification or training in painting and decorating (preferred but not required).
