Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities for our media, event, and exhibition services. You will work closely with clients, develop strong relationships, and ensure the successful execution of projects that align with our company's goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's client base.

• Identify target markets, industries, and potential clients for media, event, and exhibition solutions.


Client Relationship Management:

• Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Conduct client meetings, presentations to showcase our capabilities and offerings.

• Understand client needs and tailor proposals to meet their specific objectives.


Lead Generation and Prospecting:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation techniques.

• Qualify leads and assess potential clients' fit with our services.


Proposal Development and Pricing:

• Create compelling sales proposals and presentations that highlight the value of our services.

• Work with the pricing team to determine competitive and profitable pricing strategies.


Contract Negotiation and Closure:

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure deals that align with company goals.

• Ensure the timely closure of sales contracts and agreements.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop promotional materials and collateral that support the sales process.

• Work closely with project managers to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.


Sales Reporting and Analysis:

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM software.

• Analyze sales data to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.


Market Insights and Competition:

• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.

• Provide feedback to the leadership team on market insights and potential growth areas.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

• Minimum 3 - 5 years proven sales and business development experience in media and events industry.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
