Exchange operation analyst

Job Summary:

As an Exchange Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cryptocurrency and forex exchange platform. You will be responsible for monitoring trading activity, analysing market trends, and managing operational processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor trading activity on the exchange platform and identify potential risks, anomalies, and market trends.
• Analyse market data, trading volumes, and price movements to provide insights and recommendations to management and trading teams.
• Conduct reconciliations of trading activity, balances, and positions to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including trading, compliance, and technology teams, to resolve operational issues and optimize trading performance.
• Develop and implement operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability of exchange operations.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards, including KYC/AML procedures and transaction monitoring.
• Perform regular audits and reviews of exchange operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide support and training to internal teams and external partners on exchange operations, trading systems, and procedures.
• Stay informed about developments in the cryptocurrency and forex markets, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, and assess their impact on exchange operations.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in exchange operations, trading, or financial services, with a focus on cryptocurrencies and/or forex markets would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and forex trading principles, market dynamics, and trading systems. (Not Mandate)
• Experience with exchange operations, trade reconciliation, and risk management processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to cryptocurrency and forex exchanges.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator, Certified Forex Trader) preferred. (Not Mandate)
