  • Inspecting Products: The primary duty of a QC Inspector is to inspect products, materials, components, or systems to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements. This involves visually examining items, checking measurements, conducting tests, and using various tools and equipment to verify quality.


  • Quality Assurance: QC Inspectors are responsible for enforcing quality assurance procedures and protocols to maintain high standards throughout the production process. This may involve reviewing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to prevent defects.


  • Documentation and Reporting: QC Inspectors document inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards. They may also prepare inspection reports, maintain records of quality control activities, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, such as production managers or quality assurance teams.


  • Problem Solving: When defects or non-conformities are identified, QC Inspectors must investigate the root cause of the issue and work with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions. This may involve troubleshooting problems, analyzing data, and collaborating with engineers or production staff to find solutions.


  • Compliance and Regulations: QC Inspectors ensure that products comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements set by regulatory bodies or certification agencies. They stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and standards to ensure compliance.


  • Training and Support: In some cases, QC Inspectors may be responsible for training new employees on quality control procedures, equipment operation, and inspection techniques. They may also provide support and guidance to production teams to help them meet quality objectives.


  • Continuous Improvement: QC Inspectors participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, optimizing processes, and reducing waste. They may suggest improvements, participate in quality improvement teams, and contribute to the development of best practices.


  • Safety: QC Inspectors must adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary and reporting any safety hazards or concerns.

Skills

  • Holder of at least CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI Level II Welding Inspector
  • Had training on ISO 9001 QMS
  • Experience in ISO Internal Auditing
  • Experience in either Construction or Fabrication related works
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Good Technical Writing and Typing Skills
  • With valid UAE Driving License
