HRIS Product Owner

What you will do

  • As the product expert for Talent Management, you will learn the external technology market, internal environment, and our customers’ needs as they evolve to shape our HR technology roadmap bottom up. In addition, manage, and prioritize the product backlog, serve as a liaison between product design and development teams, and translate strategic initiatives into work packages where required.
  • Key-value partner to our key stakeholders, HR COE’s, HR Process Owners, EIT, Group Digital and our vendors.
  • Responsible for the global system processes and application(s) within Talent Management.
  • Accountable for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the system(s), including but not limited to:  
  1. Delivering our services under each value stream to ensure adequate operational support, system administration, incident resolution and configuration changes as required in conjunction with our HRIS Handbook and the SDLC approach.
  2. Completing design and configuration (with EIT) of solutions and ensuring the associated Successfactors workbooks and system design documentation remains up to date
  3. Oversee daily administration and maintenance of the system, working with internal colleagues and 3rd party vendors as required.
  4. Manage roles, access, and permission requests in conjunction with our data governance standards.
  • Lead change management. activities for change requests via HR Process Owners to ensure our communities are effectively updated and, where required, trained to increase system adoption and usage.
  • Supporting our People Analytics team and product owner for reporting to ensure solution designs consider the need for data analytics and seamless reporting.
  • Strong alignment with a new employee experience team to ensure guiding principles and alignment between digital initiatives and strategy.

What equips you for the role

  • Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in HR Technology projects and domain
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent English, Arabic is a plus
  • Hands-on SAP or SuccessFactors experience and functional knowledge and understanding of HR processes, Experience in service mgmt. methodologies such as ITIL and service delivery value Chain’s
  • Understanding of local legislative change’s impacting HR Technology
  • Solid experience of ‘software development lifecycle’ methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Iterative Model, DevOps etc
  • A team player who can work in a fast-paced environment with technical and non-technical teams to translate needs into solutions, ability to take initiative and operate independently and manage ambiguity along with multiple priorities
  • Ability to complete tasks efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. Excellent attention to detail, quality and meeting deadlines are your trademark
  • Experience in working in international and complex organizations. A consulting background will be considered as an advantage for the role
  • Highly proficient and knowledgeable in MS Office applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
