Project Manger / Joinery

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, specifically in the field of joinery. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of joinery projects, from conception to completion. This includes coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors, ensuring timely delivery of projects, managing budgets, and ensuring quality standards are met. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, execute, and manage joinery projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
  2. Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  3. Develop project schedules and allocate resources accordingly, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
  4. Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring that costs are kept within approved limits.
  5. Manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies as needed.
  6. Ensure that quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project teams.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
  9. Mentor and coach project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, specifically in the field of joinery.
  2. A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  3. PMP certification is highly desirable.
  4. Strong knowledge of joinery construction processes and techniques.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Proficient in project management software and tools.
  10. Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
