Senior Accountant

  • Review Payment & receipt vouchers, Sales invoice, Purchase invoices, Credit notes, Debit notes, to make sure all vouchers are posted to the right Accounts on the software on daily basis.
  • Follow up for collection and reconcile accounts receivables with sales invoices /receipts in addition to following up with the customers to settle the due receivable balances.
  • Reconcile accounts payable with purchase invoices, payments vouchers and reconcile it with supplier's statements on a regular basis.
  • Daily reconciliation of the bank statements by comparing statement with general ledger, in addition to controlling the reports for Post Dated Cheques (Payable).
  • Monitoring & review the Petty cash balances and reconcile with petty ledger weekly.
  • Prepare VAT file and submit it to federal Tax Authority on quarterly basis.
  • Preparing the financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash flow) - including the preparation of monthly budget for cash flow.
  • Analyzing the monthly financial reports and discuss it with top management.
  • Review the payroll sheet (containing salaries & overtime) on monthly basis.
  • Review the Prepaid expenses sheet, Depreciation of Fixed Asset sheet, Leave Salaries provision sheet, Gratuity provision sheet, Bonus provision sheet, etc. And post in the software on monthly basis.
  • Review the Inventory account and compare the report of balances of goods generated from the system versus actual balances and take the necessary corrective actions for the variances if it occurs.
  • Advice the direct line manager with the best ways to reduce the costs and Increase the Income.

Skills

• Bachelor B Com/M Com/MBA degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.

• 5-7 years of minimum experience in a furniture manufacturing company Preferred.

• UAE experience of at least 4 years in a must.

• Excellent knowledge with the accounting software QuickBooks and understanding of workflow within the system

• Interest in Tech or Business Development, highly structured and system-driven character with excellent time management skills.

• Knows how to interact with clients.

• Mon-Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm

• Available to join immediately of a full-time employment.
