Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and build of tools and equipment.
- Review Engineering Firms deliverables.
- Complete or assist in the completion of design studies.
- Manage project schedules and budget to meet project requirements.
- Manage and assign resources as needed within the engineering team.
- Apply safety standards to design and works, participate, and have role in HSE studies.
- Provide cost estimate and pricing for equipment and different project disciplines.
- Prepare purchase requisition, Request for proposals and tender packages and review bids and offers.
- Provide design inputs and reviews of other projects.
- Perform and maintain work to local and international codes.
Skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
- Min 15 years of Experience in Project Design and Project Management
- Previous Experience in UAE, preferably in Oil field, Refineries or Chemical Plant
- Sound experience in using international codes including ASEM, ANSI and API
- Good experience in using CAD and other engineering software.
- Good experience in pump selection
- Good experience for selecting proper Material of Construction for different application.
