Tendering and Estimation Manager

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tendering and Estimation Manager to join our team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the tendering and estimation process for our company. You will work closely with our sales, engineering, and procurement teams to prepare accurate and competitive bids for projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts
  2. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing labor, material, and equipment requirements
  3. Coordinate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for tender submissions
  4. Prepare and submit tender packages within specified deadlines
  5. Create and maintain a database of suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants
  6. Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits to gather relevant information
  7. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and subcontractors
  8. Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness
  9. Prepare and submit addendum and clarification requests to clients
  10. Participate in post-tender negotiations with clients
  11. Prepare and present tender analysis reports to management

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum 1-5 years of experience in tendering and estimation in the construction industry
  2. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  6. Proficient in using estimation software and Microsoft Office applications
  7. Strong negotiation and communication skills
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  9. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
