Key Responsibilities:
- Workforce Planning: Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure optimal staffing levels and talent acquisition strategies aligned with business needs and industry trends.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements, develop job descriptions, and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Performance Management: Support the implementation and execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- HR Data Analysis: Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, track key metrics, and provide insights to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, proactively identifying and addressing any compliance issues as they arise.
- HR Projects: Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, organizational restructuring, and employee engagement programs.
Skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning principles and experience in developing and implementing workforce plans.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
