Product Specialist

Responsible for achieving sales targets and implementing sales strategies in order to attain sales volume, customer growth, patient growth and customer satisfaction for the assigned therapies and / or medical products within own geographical area.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1.     Achieve revenue, sales, profit & qualitative objectives and targets for the assigned therapies and / or medical products within own geographical or business area

2.     Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers & plan visits with them

3.     Build and develop professional long-term customer relationships

4.     Prepare, implement and review targeted account plans aligned with the commercial policies defined by Baxter

5.     Plan and prepare for each customer visit and record outcomes

6.     Propose and provide each customer with appropriate solutions that will maximize opportunities both for the customer and for Baxter

7.     Communicate all relevant information to existing and potential customers to guarantee their awareness of Baxter product portfolio and its benefits

8.     Acquire new customers

9.     Capture and maintain all relevant sales and customer data

10. Gather and share with other sales reps and with line management all possible information on market intelligence and competitor activities to help anticipate competitive moves

11. Maintain presence in all existing & target customers

12. Deal with customer complaints & implement corrective actions

13. Continuously assess the market for new customers / opportunities / risks for Baxter products

14. Finalize budgets and forecasts in cooperation with line management / Marketing

15. Present Baxter products & their advantages, organize & distribute all needed promotional material and organize test usage where needed

16. Participate in congresses and other customer events

17. Provide customer training and support / assistance where needed

18. Works closely with Product Managers, Account Managers / Reps and Sales Support

19. Identify tender renewal and respond to tenders with support of line manager / Marketing (where applicable)


Skills

Education/Experience


  • Any bachelor’s degree required.
  • Freshers or minimum 2 years of Sales experience within Industry.
