KF Select streamlines the hiring process by offering data-driven candidate assessments to ensure the best fit for the role. The Korn Ferry Consultant (Assessment & Succession) plays a crucial role in leading significant engagements and ensuring impactful business outcomes for client organizations. The primary focus is on deploying Assessment & Succession solutions to empower clients in managing their talent, specifically in Talent Acquisition and Development strategies. The key responsibilities and characteristics of the role include:
Leadership in Major Engagements:<br/><br/>The Consultant takes charge of major projects, aiming to achieve clear business impact for clients through the effective deployment of Assessment & Succession solutions.
Digital Product and Service Delivery:<br/><br/>The role involves delivering Korn Ferry's digital products and services within the EMEA region. This includes leveraging a portfolio of talent solutions to address client needs.
Client Relationship Building:<br/><br/>Consultants establish strong rapport with both internal and external clients. They function as trusted advisers, working towards building profitable growth by enabling clients to utilize the full spectrum of talent products offered by Korn Ferry.
Collaboration within Project Teams:<br/><br/>Consultants collaborate with consulting and sales colleagues in project teams to deliver custom solutions that not only meet but exceed client expectations. This requires a high level of judgment in understanding client issues and tailoring solutions accordingly.
Autonomous Solution Development:<br/><br/>Individuals at this level are expected to be autonomous in developing and proposing solutions or project plans internally. Once approved, they take the lead in implementing the proposed solutions.
Client Interaction at Senior Levels:<br/><br/>Consultants engage with senior levels within client organizations. They continuously evaluate client needs, customize solutions as required, and identify additional areas of support that may be needed, effectively collaborating with Sales colleagues.
Presence and Maturity:<br/><br/>Consultants have developed a notable level of presence and maturity. This enables them to take the lead on defined aspects of a project or business development activity, showcasing expertise and professionalism.
Continuous Evaluation and Adjustment:<br/><br/>The role involves continuously evaluating client needs and making necessary adjustments to the solution. This may include identifying additional areas where support is required and communicating effectively with Sales colleagues.
Purpose of the Role:
Lead major engagements to achieve clear business impact for client organizations through the deployment of Assessment & Succession solutions.
Empower clients to take charge of fulfilling their own talent, specifically in Talent Acquisition and Development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Listen to and understand the client’s business, talent, and assessment & succession needs.
Challenge and clarify client requirements when necessary.
Solution Design and Implementation:
Define/design custom digital assessment & succession solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
Implement Korn Ferry’s digital solutions in client environments, including configuring the SaaS platform to meet business needs.
Knowledge and Expertise:
Develop proficiency in Korn Ferry’s Intellectual Property related to Digital products and services.
Use knowledge of client needs and KF IP to create customized solutions for optimal value.
Project Management:
Support large strategic accounts in deploying global assessment strategies.
Deliver high-quality work within expected timelines.
Client Workshops and Stakeholder Engagement:
Conduct client workshops on competency mapping, success profile tailoring, platform rollout plans, and ongoing governance processes.
Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans for projects.
Change Management and Relationship Management:
Develop and deliver projects or workstreams within change management initiatives.
Manage relationships with internal colleagues, act as a business partner, and deploy appropriate resources.
Subject Matter Expertise and Network Development:
Act as a subject matter expert in the deployment of assessments and digital delivery services.
Develop a strong internal brand and network across the Korn Ferry enterprise.
People Management:
Work with and coordinate activities with colleagues across teams.
Manage peers and junior resources on projects, providing guidance and coaching.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in human resources, organizational psychology, or economics/management.
Highly experienced in the use of online assessment tools at scale for talent strategy delivery.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Experience with competency frameworks in a client environment is advantageous.
Exemplary psychometric knowledge and skills.
