Technical Sales Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer for a leading waterproofing & heat insulation solutions company in the Middle East. The ideal candidate shall have a strong technical background in construction materials and a proven track record in sales. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our waterproofing products and services to clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, sales skills, and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify potential customers and projects in need of waterproofing solutions.

Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and promote our products.

Provide technical assistance and support to customers throughout the sales process, including product selection, specification, and installation guidance.

Conduct product presentations for customers.

Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and project specifications.

Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.

Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations related to waterproofing.

  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project opportunities in the CRM system.

Skills

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the construction or waterproofing industry.

Strong understanding of waterproofing materials, systems, and applications.

Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.

Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory.

Valid UAE driver's license and clean driving record.

Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
