Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Handling inward/outward clearing cheques, including the validation of the cheques and customer services
  • Handling enquires from customers, branches and other banks
  • Handling returned cheques and making relevant transactions
  • Check / Ensure documentation is in order as per Sharia requirements and appropriate approvals are provided for special interest rate / back-value of TDs
  • Process opening of Islamic Term Deposits / Wakala Deposits in FCUBS Process maintenance of Islamic Term Deposits / Wakala Deposits in FCUBS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in using banking software systems is crucial.
  • Experience with Islamic banking products may be advantageous
  • Proficiency in using banking software systems is crucial.
  • Experience with FCUBS or similar core banking systems for account setup, transaction processing, and reconciliation is highly desirable
