Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist buyers in researching, selecting, and purchasing merchandise based on inventory needs and sales projections.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels in the procurement system.
- Monitor inventory levels and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and prevent stockouts.
Skills
Preference:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or retail operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and purchasing best practices.Passion for the retail industry and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
