We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Executive to join our team and manage the Modern Trade accounts, specifically focusing on Carrefour. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth within the Carrefour Modern Trade accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Carrefour's key personnel, including purchasing managers, category managers, and other decision-makers.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for product placement, promotions, and assortment optimization within Carrefour outlets.
- Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements, including pricing, promotions, and trade terms, to maximize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales and promotional activities.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, and develop action plans to address any gaps and capitalize on opportunities.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the overall demand planning process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities within the Carrefour accounts.
- Proven experience in key account management within the retail industry, with a focus on Modern Trade accounts, particularly with Carrefour.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of successfully closing commercial agreements and driving sales growth.
- Solid understanding of the retail market landscape in the UAE, particularly with respect to Carrefour's operations and customer base.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications or qualifications in sales and account management would be a plus.
